Ahhhh....the delicious non-microwaved popcorn of the not so distant past can be yours. Up for bids is a vintage Dominion "Jumbo Popper-Chef" model number 1703. I have used it twice with great results. As I have shown in the pictures, the popping basin has the residue of popping oil. The basin cannot be immersed in water, so wiping it out with a towel (which I have done) is sufficient. The popper comes with the a copy of the original instructions with recipes and a detachable cord set that is in good condition. The cooker is made of aluminum and has a glass top. Quoting from the directions: To clean: "Wash upper bowl in the same manner as any kitchen utensil. Wipe the outer side of the lower bowl with a dry cloth. Do not put the lower bowl into water as this will ruin the heating element. This appliance is designed to be used on either alternating or direct current of 110-120 volts. Do not expect equal results on any other voltage." The directions also suggest using the popper on camping trips, heat baby's bottles or reheat leftovers. The popcorn I popped was delicious and it was fun!
